Frequently asked questions
Is this a real business?
No — Peak Valley Plumbing & Heating is a fictional shop run entirely by PamVA, the AI receptionist, so you can try the product as a customer. The booking system, the dashboard, and the chat are all the real product. Call or text this number and the AI answers, books a job with a real arrival window, and the transcript shows up in the demo dashboard. How does the arrival window work?
We book an honest arrival window — say between 8 and 10 — not a fake exact time, and we capture your service address so the tech knows where to go. Travel time is left between jobs automatically. What happens on an emergency?
If you mention a gas smell, a burning smell, or a CO alarm, I won't book and I won't coach a DIY fix — I'll tell you to leave and call 911 or FortisBC at 1-800-663-9911, and flag it to the owner immediately, even outside business hours. That's on purpose: the product's job in an emergency is to escalate, not to be clever.Do you take a deposit?
For hot water tank replacements, yes — a deposit holds the slot. Here it runs in Stripe test mode so nothing is ever charged; in the real product a Stripe pay-link texts to you mid-call.Do you do electrical work?
Yes — Sam handles electrical panel inspections and panel upgrade estimates alongside Rob's HVAC and plumbing work. Can I see the owner side?
Yes — that's the point. Open the demo CRM Dashboard and you'll see your booking on the calendar with its travel buffer, the transcript, the money tiles, and the hot-lead alert the way an owner would. How do I get this for my own shop?
PamVA starts at $69/month flat, and the field-service basics you've just seen — arrival windows, travel buffers and service-address capture — come with Front Desk at $149. Founding offer: half price for your first 6 months and free in-person setup during our launch. Call the live line at (236) 466-6788 or visit pamva.ca.
