Three plans, starting at $69. Every one answers and books — no per-minute meter, no per-booking fee, no surprise overage, ever. The price on the card is the whole bill. All prices CAD.
The price below is the whole bill.
Most booking apps and answering services meter one or more of these — by the minute, by the booking, by the staff seat, or as a cut of every sale. We meter none of them. See exactly how the numbers stack up on our salon, trades, and stays pages.

Every AI-receptionist service we get compared to locks booking behind a higher tier, meters your minutes, or charges per call to book at all. Pam books on the $69 plan. The receipts:
Starter is $99 CAD a month — 300 voice minutes, $0.45 a minute over — and sends only one-way SMS notifications. Two-way SMS messaging and AI appointment scheduling first appear on Business PRO at $149 CAD a month. That's $149 CAD before their AI can text back and book — and their minutes are metered. PamVA books over text at $69, and its $149 Front Desk includes live voice and the whole front office, unmetered.
Starts at US$49 — about the same money as our $69 CAD — but booking is locked until its US$149 Scale plan; the cheap tier answers and takes a message. PamVA books real appointments on the $69 Text Receptionist tier, over SMS and web chat, and adds live voice at $149.
From US$300 a month for 30 calls, and booking is an extra US$1.50 a call — real work by human agents, not AI. PamVA's whole Front Desk plan is $149 CAD flat, booking included, with no per-call fee.
An SMS agent from US$19 a month, then US$0.05 a message on top. PamVA's texting is included and unmetered from the $69 tier up — never billed per message.
Competitor pricing as published July 2026.
We set you up over a screen-share — or in person between Armstrong and Kelowna, at your office or a coffee shop — load everything, train your staff, and stay for the first live calls. On us for every new business right now, while we grow the Okanagan roster.
First 10 Okanagan businesses, on any plan from $69 up: half price for your first 6 months — Front Desk for $74.50 a month — and your rate never goes up while you stay. In exchange: honest feedback, and a named review once we've earned it.
Because surprise bills are why small businesses quit these services. We built our own platform end-to-end, so our costs are low enough to price flat and mean it. The meter-and-overage model is a choice — we chose differently.
Check what they actually book. Rosie starts at US$49 — about the same money as our $69 CAD — but booking is locked until its US$149 Scale plan; the cheap tier answers and takes a message. Our Text Receptionist is $69 CAD and books real appointments over text and web chat — with customer records and notes, self-serve rescheduling, analytics, hot-lead alerts, the CRM Dashboard, and no meter. Compare the price to book an appointment, not the price to answer a call.
Text Receptionist includes 250 AI conversations a month. Front Desk and Pro include 1,000 answered minutes and 400 AI text conversations a month. That's one figure for every industry — set above what a genuinely busy business in any of them actually uses. Most sit well under it; the busiest clinics and trades shops run closest to the line, and if you're one of them you'll hear from us long before it's ever a bill.
It isn't a meter with a friendlier name. There's no counter in your dashboard, no overage rate card, and no automatic charge — nothing counts down, nothing switches off mid-month, and no feature is withheld. The only trigger is volume running far beyond that allowance, and the only consequence is a phone call from us to work out the right plan together. Same policy on all three plans.
Anytime. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades at your next billing date. Cancel and your number forwarding simply switches off — your data is exportable before you go.
Only if you use them — payment features are optional. If you're happy with your current terminal or POS, Pam books and you charge the way you always have. When you want deposits, pay-links, or no-show fees, they run through your own payment account: we set up Stripe as standard, and its processing fees (currently 2.9% + 30¢ for Canadian cards — see stripe.com/pricing) go to Stripe, not us. Already on another provider? Tell us what you run and we'll walk you through the options. We never mark up your payments.
No. Card payments run on your own Stripe account — we help you connect it at setup — so the money goes straight to you, never through us. Stripe charges its standard Canadian processing fee on each card payment (roughly 3% plus a small per-transaction amount; current rates at stripe.com/pricing), and that's the whole cost. We add no markup and take no percentage.
Of course. At checkout you record the payment as cash, cheque, e-transfer, or a card run on the terminal you already own — the invoice is marked paid either way, and it all lands in the same place: your dashboard totals, and your accounting through QuickBooks or Xero sync or a CSV export. Stripe is only needed for payments that happen online: booking deposits, texted pay-links, and anything paid from your website.
Your service list, your hours, and ten minutes to decide what your Virtual Assistant should be called. We handle the rest — number setup, forwarding, website, and test calls.
Yes, on every plan — including the $69 Text Receptionist. Bring your last bill: migration is free and white-glove (we mirror your setup, change the forwarding with you, and arrange the number port), and your first 6 months are half price. Your old service stays live until you've seen two weeks of your own numbers — see how switching works.
